Anyone may join. The points will not be automatically combined with grid.org, which is considered another project. There are slight differences in the program. One will deinstall the other since you/them cannot run both at the same time.
----------------------------------------Running WCG will remove grid.org. Running grid.org will remove WCG. Naturally, it would probably be cleaner to for you/them to remove whichever one you/they are not using, before downloading the new software. (The other person is switching, probably, so this would be for them.) It is possible for one computer to run WCG and another computer to run grid.org. Both just cannot be on the same computer at the same time. [Edit 3 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 6, 2006 4:08:44 PM] |

I can show my own example:
----------------------------------------Here are my points for grid.org. Here is a statistics box showing my points for both projects. (I have done both grid and wcg. The box shows it as United Devices.) Differences in numbers means that the statistics box programs run at different times. Some others run many more projects. My WCG points are also in the signature below.
