How do I run as pre-boot screen saver?

Hello, I have heard that UD can be run as a pre-boot screen saver on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. I could not find any instructions for this. How can this be setup? Thanks for your help.

Re: How do I run as pre-boot screen saver?

Hi rutgers-nieer-cgilbert,
I have vague memories of a post discussing something like that. I could not find it, but I ran across a post discussing using Control Panel - Scheduled Tasks at http://forum.grid.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=14418 :
You can also load an Application (UD.EXE) using Scheduling in control panel on Win2k or Win XP, this allows you to decide how it is run eg. all the time, only when someone is logged on or after a set length of idle time and also you can specify what user it will be run as so you can set it to run as administrator and it will have admin rights over the machine without the logged on user needing extra rights.

If I recall correctly, no user interaction is possible (no icon in the service tray).

Thanks, I can use that information a little bit later. I'll scour the web for pre-boot screen saver info and post here whatever I can make work.
