Thank you Rancho and JC!! JC, that is very sincere flattery! Cybernauts are now awaiting our next 20 members!! PRNRN91, we get a lot of Humming birds that come to Colorado. Especially to Colorado Springs. I have feeders for them when they come here in May or June (depending on the weather). I have taken camcorder "shots" of Humming birds that come to the feeder *very* near my backyard window in the Dining room. Very slow exposure speeds to show folks how quickly their wings move. Amazing. And I could almost swear that I have seen the very same Humming birds return to my back yard the next year (that also has has many flowers that they like). Very wonderful to see. |

I agree JC, they are the most amazing of creatures. I have a pic here of one just as he landed on my feeder, wings moving as he landed, but the angle was not quite right. You have to be fast with those little creatures...LOL I use a regular point and shoot digital, but leave the flash on to slow the shutter speed some. It usually works but you have to be patient and I am not enough so!! I am glad you like my pic.
