Its been working alright all the while, but now I notice the agent does not start up automatically when I re-boot. What ought I to do ? (I didn't do it, any-thing. Honest !!)

Is UD.EXE in your startup?
----------------------------------------If not, you can always fire it up manually until you get it there if you want it to start upon reboot.

There should be a shortcut to UD.exe labelled World Community Grid Agent in one of your startup directories. Look at Documents and Settings - xxxx - Start Menu - Programs - Startup where xxxx is the user (or All Users) that you installed in. If you click on the shortcut, it should start the WCG clent. Or you can paste a shortcut into the startup directory if something has happened to it.
If nothing works, try uninstalling, then reinstalling after a reboot. mycrofth |
