David, I sincerely apologize for upsetting you and anyone else on your team, and I hope you will reconsider your response.
I hope you have a Happy New Year. Bill Velek |

Hey Bill that's a tough one I'm still fairly battered and bruised
---------------------------------------- By the way you did not make me quit as a Community Admin it was the total lack of control over any situation which arises on the WCG Forums once again that led me to this decision. I am supposed to be able to uphold the forum rules as a Community Admin and yet I was never equipped with the tools to do so by IBM. There is a great deal of history to which luckily you haven't been party to. I wish my fellow CA's all the very best. Unfortunately rules are rules and maybe they are a little OTT (with good reason given just above a years experience here on the World Community Grid - who could easily forget the image of MOT Team Members hanging from crosses courtesy of another team here at the WCG ) but we are trying to make this a nice place to be and there isn't any reason why it shouldn't be. After all the reason we are all here in the first place seems to be a great goal to aim for "Working together for the Good of Mankind"I would ask everyone who reads this to remember that the team thing is just for fun, with the emphasis on fun We are all members of the biggest team on the World Community Grid "Team WCG" and we are all doing a great jobIn this spirit Bill I wish you well for 2006. May it be a fruitful one Dave ![]() |

Dave,
I had intended to place my former post in your team thread to be sure you saw it. I don't know if I messed up or if someone moved it, but it doesn't matter to me so long as you saw it. I'm glad there are no hard feelings. Bill Velek |

Bill -- Nobody moved your post, but I believe I have spotted what is causing you to open new threads so often. If you wish to respond to a post in an existing thread, click on either "Reply to this Post" or "Reply with Quote" which you will find in each of the entries in a thread. I think you are instead clicking on "Post new Thread" which appears at the top to the right on each forum page. Regards, |
