One of my team members had his PC smoke & burn, to cut a long story short, he cannot now remember what he used to log-in with. Yep, he tried that ... problem is, it sends his password to a non-existing email address.  So, does that mean he has to start all over again?  |

Is the quote you posted from an email he sent you?

Yes it was an email, and a post and a cry for help ...
BUT NO ... The "PROBLEM" is the email address no longer exists  guess we all need to do as I do .... write them on a sticky and stick it to the PC. ... and I still loose mine.  |

It might be worth reminding your friend to change his profile and change to a current e-mail address so that he won't have the same problem again
