AfricaAtHome and MalariaControl.Net - Available Soon on the WCG ???

Have just checked the Africa@Home site and it's new MalariaControl.Net project.

Will this project soon be added to the WCG task list ???

Would be interested if it were available on the WCG, as I know & trust the WCG agent software. smile

That would be interesting: to add the Malaria.net project to WCG. I believe that they can use the results of the HPF project by considering the protein structures that play a role in Malaria.

P.S. maybe the scientists from Africa@Home can submit a proposal to collaborate on future projects:

Re: AfricaAtHome and MalariaControl.Net - Available Soon on the WCG ???

Actually we are sort of in touch with the Africa@Home project through CERN in Switzerland. They found out about World Community Grid a few months ago but were too far along the Afica@Home development path to stop and switch over to World Community Grid. World Communty Grid is referenced on their website: http://africa-home4.cern.ch/links.htm We have provided CERN with all the information that they need to submit a proposal for the next project that comes their way. We did this at one of their recent "First Tuesday" sessions which was about "Distributed Computing for Global Health". Here is link to the information: http://bulletin.cern.ch/eng/seminars.php?bull...xpand=xa057897#Thursday08
