Hello ChrisD,
!) I am assuming that you are running the UD agent on Windows and should have posted in Windows Support but misposted in Chat by accident. 2) I am assuming that you have returned 3 results as shown in your Statistics, so something has changed on a good computer system. 3) Your Statistics show 1 installation as of midnight GMT (2400 11 Dec 2005). This might change with the next update so I will check again in a few minutes. My current working assumption is that something interfering with running / installing the agent has recently changed, such as an antivirus update. What security systems are you running? Are you still running on the Default profile, or have you modified that? What type of work unit (FAAH or HPF) do you have now, if any? What have you beem running? Are you running All Projects or have you selected a particular project? mycrofth |

Not quite sure has happened. I was running HPF, then changed to
FAAH, which is when it stopped. Have changed it back to HPF, and seems to be running again |

Does your system meet the minimum requirements for the FA@H project?

Hi ChrisD,
Big Vaio is referring to the minimum requirements at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq The FAAH project requires at least 250 MB of RAM, while HPF only requires 120 MB. There are other differences as well. If you set your Profile in My Grid to work on all projects, you will be assigned work units from any project that your computer can run. A good program to download is Belarc Advisor, mentioned in the 'Useful Utilities' thread: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2490 It can tell you a lot about your system and the software on it. mycrofth |
