I personally have no clue to what you are talking about. My knowledge of music is close to zip and all I have is one of the first mp3's that included a disk. Not too old but still.
Hmmm... anyone know about the peace corps? I'm two years too young but I still want to do something. |

The best software for ripping your audio CDs is called EAC. (Many thanks to depriens for pointing it out to me). The trouble is that it is very difficult to set up. There is now a Quick Start Wizard for non-techies (like me) to just get up and get started in minutes.
As their official site puts it: "The big disadvantage of EAC is the complexity of the program to new users. New users may be overwhelmed by features not even knowing what these are for. And too bad there's quite some configuring to set up EAC correctly... "EAC author Andre Wiethoff made a wizard for the new EAC versions which guides you through the installation. Most settings are preconfigured for you so only a few trivial options need to be set! Getting EAC and LAME up and running is nowadays just a matter of minutes." The URL is: http://users.pandora.be/satcp/eac-qs-en.htm This software is truly unlike anything else out there. Merry Christmas! ![]() |

talking of new audio/digital formats propellerheads reason @www.reasonstation.net/
and Proppellerhead software download reason song files directly into the reason synth engine thus theres no loss in the system, trouble is its for reason owners only and will set you back £300, theres quite a few digital composing systems out there that use the same idea ,the user can allso add subtract or change any of the instruments in the track or use the downloaded song as a template 4 1 of there own,its heaven and yet the spin off seems to be lossless musical data TX,if you ever wanted to create your own music or dabble with someone elses its ideal and its beginer friendly up to a point. Its possible to standerdize this idea but i think itl take another 20 years before we catch up http/www.twra5t.co.uk |
