Statistics for Linux Clients

Are there any statistics regarding ONLY the linux client? Just wondering how much the linux machines make out in the whole grid. I havent seen anything in the "Statistics" section of the site, but maybe an insider has some info?

regards
Geli

Re: Statistics for Linux Clients

Since the linux clients are all using the BOINC platform, you will be able to find plenty of stats, on BOINC related sites which gather statistics on several projects, including the WCG.

You may want to have a look at http://www.boincsynergy.com/stats
There, you'll find breakdowns by OS, by CPU type, by country, and much more.

Re: Statistics for Linux Clients

Hello Geli,
We do not have a 'By Platform' breakdown in our Statistics. Until we added BOINC there was no need and it will be a while before we completely implement the BOINC system and can step back and make some nice-to-have changes to our statistics.

http://www.boincstats.com/stats/host_os_stats.php?pr=wcg&st=0&to=100

If you multiply the credits that linux computers have with 7 you can find out how many points the linux clients calculated so far.

Re: Statistics for Linux Clients

Revamping how we display statistics is high on our priority list for 2006.

Thanks
