Hello mycrofth,
sorry I didn't asked these questions in another thread, I will remember this in the future But please allow me to answer your questions here ... I'm running the UD-agent for windows and I was crunching a HPF task, certainly not a FAAH. Maybe some software failure occured... I will wait and see if the WU that is running at the moment holds 'till the end, if not I'll post new questions in the Windows Support forum. |

Indeed, I'm from The Netherlands myself, but I have to admit that I prefer the Flemish language over the real Dutch language. It just sounds better! ![]() I agree with that. And besides from our language ... it is said all over the world our beer is much better too! ![]() |

I'm so glad that the normal beer "Jupiler" is now available in Holland too! And all the special beers you have are really good as well! But back on topic: Has your pc completed a new workunit already? ![]() |

But back on topic: Has your pc completed a new workunit already? no it is working on a big one I think ... 49% in 17 hours 50 minutes ... my wife left the PC running today while I was at work, just to check if the WU is going to stop before it reaches the 100 % like it did the very first time. From what I read in these forums there are very large WU's lately. I also considered to use BOINC instead of the UD-agent but I'm not sure that will be an improvement when it comes to speed. |

There should be no difference in speed between BOINC and UD since the science application is the same. Also - this type of distributed computing project will definitely be able to take advantage of a computer that is only on for a couple of hours a day. So please feel free to install the software and continue using your computer as you normally would. thanks for joining! |

Ok, no problem, I'll keep the UD-agent running ( 57 % in 21 hours ... that 's a large WU I presume ) |
