confused Email footer?

I'd like to place a footer in my email with a link to the World Community Grid - I think that way people would see the link in my emails and be encouraged to sign up. Are there any templates around with smallish logos?

TIA.

Rob.

Re: Email footer?

Rob --

I agree with you that it would be a nice idea. Unfortunately the present position is that the logo is trademarked and, therefore, it cannot be used. The project manager of The World Community Grid indicated that he has submitted a request to his corporate lawyers to allow members to use the logo in this manner, but knowing lawyers, it will probably be some time before we hear back on that.

Graham Hood of team MyOnlineTeam has created a lot of graphics for celebrations here and I am sure he won't mind that I shamelessly grabbed and resized a clip that has been used in several postings. It is kind of an "Unofficial" symbol that has been used and it is without trademark (Graham -- if you object, let me know and I will remove this).

Re: Email footer?

Lewis, thanks... I've grabbed the image, and I'll eventually incorporate it into my email signature.

Re: Email footer?

I am not conversant in any of those. blushing The images are so good that they look like they were done with a ray-tracer and perhaps one of those does that. Anyway, sorry I got this thread off-topic but thanks for satisfying my curiosity.
