Re: WCG migration to a new environment finally complete

For those waiting for Rosetta work, I just got my first WUs from Rosetta in quite a long time. Right now the only project I'm participating in that doesn't have work is climateprediction, because they only have linux clients working right now and have no plans for windows clients at this time.

LHC, Milkyway, Rosetta, SiDock, and WCG are all handing out work.

I recently restarted working on FAH just to give my GPU something to do, but they changed everything about participant registration since the last time I did anything with that project so I dunno if those stats are tracked externally or not.

I can recommend Einstein for GPU work, they support AMD, Nvidia and Intel GPUs and have a steady WU supply.

Also been using gpu for FAH.,

Was assigned a 671,000 credit unit. Absolutely massive.

Took the ada rtx 2000 almost 9 and a half hours to crunch it

Is it basically SETI for pulsars?

I tried to add it through the BOINC manager and it says "project is temporarily unavailable". I'll try again later because the computer told me to.

Kind of, it's searching either for pulsars or gravitational waves, depends on which application you choose.

Create an account on the homepage first, than you can choose which applications you want to run before connecting. If not, it will likely send you also CPU work.

Well this is a bummer. The https://www.boincstats.com site has zeroed out the WCG updates. Maybe WCG techs are working to fix the missing update over the last migration?

No, there's some major issue at BOINCstats!

I lost overnight not only the WCG stats but also 3/4 billion credits for the whole Einstein project! Actually, the whole project is gone...

There have been issues with other projects, so hopefully this will be fixed by Willy soon, but this is NOT WCG related...

EDIT: yeah, major issues at BOINCstats right now, pretty much all projects stats gone, but not a problem at those projects, incl. WCG, as for example Free-DC is still showing everything (though that maintainer is also fixing things at the moment, seems that kind of time of the year)

EDIT2: Looks like the issues at BOINCStats are solved and things are getting back to normal. Hope we soon see a similar info about WCG.

Re: WCG migration to a new environment finally complete

humm. My Einstein project is all there. I hope 'Willy' gets it all sorted out. I also hope WCG starts sending updated stats. It will be interesting to see when almost 3 months of stats all of a sudden show ujp (aor at least is was about 3 months ago when WCG stats stopped updating (maybe still a partial WCG problem).

Update: at the BOINCstats site the WCG previous results are restored for my id. making progress!

Re: WCG migration to a new environment finally complete

Boincstats will show my stats if I search for my username or user ID as well as the projects I've been working on in the past, however I just added Einstein using the same user ID and email address and boincstats didn't pick up on it. Not only that, when I try to log in to boincstats it says my account doesn't exist. So I can search for my account results which keep updating based on active projects, but the account somehow doesn't actually exist and didn't add my brand new Einstein work. I don't know if that's a me problem or a problem with boincstats. Trying to recover my boincstats account with my username or email address just results in an error saying the account doesn't exist, even though the account is still searchable in the stats lists. Oh well.

That is a plain BOINCstats issue, nothing we can help you with here at the WCG forum. For me, it seems to be working again...
Try checking/asking on the BOINCstats forum about your issue(s)...
