No tasks
Available tasks appear to have dried up. Nothing running. Running 8.2.4. Is it on my end? This does not usually happen until the weekend.

Yes, but this time they fixed it earlier than usual so it also failed earlier than usual since their fixes last usually 4-5 days.

Yes, but this time they fixed it earlier than usual so it also failed earlier than usual since their fixes last usually 4-5 days.
The symptoms might be similar but the causes might be different.
In the past a very common occurrence would be that WUs in PVa jail build up, this time it is validated WUs that are not being purged after 2 days and likely overloading one of the databases.
In general, it would really helpful if WCG Towers would at least tell what the problem is instead of just keeping silent... sad

Are there other BOINC projects out there that do have meaningful work to do? I tried climateprediction.net, but it is also not providing work.

CPDN does have work but, at the moment, it is only for Linux or Windows running WSL2.

CPDN appears to run on Windows with WSL2. I have WSL2 installed, but it requires installing the Linux BOINC client on WSL2 and having both the Windows and Linux clients running.

I am pretty sure I could get there, but it would be easier if the Windows BOINC client became capable of passing work off to WSL2.
