World Community Grid | Another scheduler instance is running for this host
Every scheduler request on all my hosts, both host machine and VM's are getting the following,

Thu 19 Jun 2025 13:46:01 BST | World Community Grid | Another scheduler instance is running for this host


Completed tasks not reporting. Exiting both client and manager and restarting BOINC do not clear the problem. As it is happening on all hosts, I assume this is a server side problem as I just tried Moo Wrapper and I can get new work and report completed tasks there.

It is indeed a server-side issue. See this post in the Chat Room for a potted summary; the Project Status thread there often discusses service issues!...

I'm getting the same message on all of mine too. Also, no downloads and cache are getting pretty low.

Exacty the same effect on my Ubuntu VM, BOINC 8.0.4.
Beginning between:
10:45:25 CEST last scheduler request without this message
10:47:46 CEST (08:47:46 UTC) first apperance of this message, finished tasks being kept on the client since then and not getting new ones.

19-Jun-2025 15:17:19 [World Community Grid] Reporting 15 completed tasks
19-Jun-2025 15:17:19 [World Community Grid] Requesting new tasks for CPU

19-Jun-2025 15:17:22 [World Community Grid] Another scheduler instance is running for this host

Looks like they are working on it. I now get this message:

Well, I am finally able to report a larger number of WUs from several hosts. New WUs are for ARP1 only though...

Correction: Now I am also getting MCM1 WUs after reporting...
