I have incomplete list of devices on the website.
What I have done on not listed device (which is VPS server on almalinux8 with EPEL and running on OpenVz): - remove and add WCG on missing device (vps server); - update project; - check "account_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml" for "<authenticator>xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx</authenticator>" which is identical to the authenticator in the account_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml' file on a device that is properly listed on the website. What can be wrong? Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. |

This is a known problem with WCG and must be fixed on their servers by the tech support team.
----------------------------------------Go to the forum about missing devices linked below and copy/paste your message there. In the meantime ,please quit adding and removing the device from BOINC, that will make it much harder to eventually fix the problem. This has been a known issue for quite some time. How long has that computer been crunching? Are you seeing the WU's (work units) listed in your RESULTS heading? This should happen within 12 hours of the first result reporting as VALID (or before). If things are working correctly, it usually takes about 3 or 4 days to have your system showing up in the DEVICES heading without intervention. Dr Who Fan's comments are accurate. |
