When BOINC tries it gets HTTP/1.0 503 Service Unavailable Irrelevant. This is a very well known problem, even before the hiatus of the ARP project two years ago. What hardware does that server have? Haven't seen any 503 errors but certainly constant retries for hours until all parts of a WU (+100MB) are been downloaded. And it also effects the download of new MCM1 WUs, which will get stuck in retries now as well. It just takes time to get this all together... Btw, there is mentioned in several places that the ARP project takes significantly more resources in terms of RAM, disk space and bandwidth than any other (sub)project on WCG... Ralf |

The restart of ARP is going to bring the gremlins out again. I won't be starting it.

With one ARP at the top of the (not working) downloads, it looks to me that it also holds up the MCM downloads.
----------------------------------------It's pretty frustrating that not a single task is downloading. I wouldn't mind knowing what's going on right now. Should I abort the download, still sitting at 0%, now?

It has all my machines hung up and running out of work units. I just dropped the project and manually deleting them off the computers I have access to. When it gets lined out, i'll be back for it.
