Are there any projects coming to WCG? It has been many years... Also, OpenPandemics and Africa Rainfall Project are active both always no tasks. Other intermittent projects are like completely silent.
The only thing active is MCM. |

Yes, thanks.... Definitely need something new. With all these AI advancements, we can really use our computers especially the new gen ones in a whole new way. Hopefully we will be able to! The application has to be written to take advantage of those new features. Right now, clock speed, core count, and memory speed/bandwidth are the most helpful characteristics and I don't think that will change much for future applications. One thing that will be great is the increased power efficiency of the newest hardware. That being said, this is not always true for all hardware (next gen RTX 50x0 needing more power than the current gen). Hopefully, the application creators will take advantage of new CPU features but time will tell! |
