any big difference here? both of them bring the screen back when i touch something. thanks.

Depends.
Turning the screen on and off frequently puts more strain on electrical components than simply allowing them to run. So in the long run it is not cost effective, even though it saves power. It is smarter to cut power only after a long delay. Blanking the screen to prevent burn-in is smart. So combine the two methods and use a quick blank screen with a power cut after a long delay. |
