SSE support for AutoDock?

Will CPU's with SSE or 3DNow get a bigger speed boost over those without?

Re: SSE support for AutoDock?

As of 20 Nov 2005, here is an extract from the AutoDock site at http://www.scripps.edu/mb/olson/doc/autodock/
AutoDock 4.0?

AutoDock 4 offers protein sidechain flexibility, a new desolvation model, more parameters, new search methods and new features in the graphical user interface, AutoDockTools.

We are aiming to release AutoDock 4.0 when it is fully tested and ready to go, so watch this space! Thanks for your patience.

AutoDock 3.0 was released in 1999. If you look at WCGrid_AutoDock.exe, you will notice that it is version 4.0.3.1, compiled on 15 Nov 2005. So there is no online documentation yet that I can reference to answer your question.

The World Community Grid is starting FAAH using a new ligand-fitting program.
