2024-03-08 Update (Work unit availability)
Several users have noted that work unit availability is unusually low today. Our tech team has observed a lot of BOINC components timing out queries to the database, causing the abnormally poor availability. The tech team is currently working on implementing a fix.

Thanks for the update TigerLily. I just noticed that the team shut down the feeder (or it crashed):
World Community Grid	2024-03-08 20:58:52	Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU	
World Community Grid	2024-03-08 20:58:55	Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks	
World Community Grid	2024-03-08 20:58:55	Server error: feeder not running

Edit, added: Feeder restarted again, and I received one MCM1 _2 resend, and 50 minutes later, one MCM1 _3 resend.

Thank you for the info. I was wondering if updating the BOINC version broke something.

Maybe push news updates on Bluesky and Mastodon, since Twitter and Fakebook are kaputt?
