I think each team should have its own forum so that the team members can communicate and get to know eachother. What do you guys think?

My team is a group of members of a particular car forum, so we already have one
Right now there are already 1913 teams, so I doubt if the admins would be willing to set up a special forum for each team, and it could really clutter up the forum index to have thousands of forums. Maybe you could get by for now with just a team thread. |

that is true, but there should be some way for teams to communicate. Maybe give members an option to have their email address visible to their team members or give a team its own forum once it reaches a certain size.

yes there should definitely be more forums available. Teams especially. in addition to "new members forum, suggestions/feedback, etc.
A strictly Project related forum.....questions about the software...maybe forums for the various operating systems for questions, etc. Would definitely help with the clutter, and enable the moderators to sift the the bazillion posts more easily!!! assign different mods to the different forums etc. I vote YES!!! |

It wouldn't be hard for the WCG web team to enable optional email address visibility within teams. And it wouldn't be hard for captains to take the trouble to set up a forum for their team on one of the many free portals such as yahoo! groups. Expecting the WCG to support a zillion forums is a bit much! ![]() |

I agree, an individual forum for each team is a bit much, but most other DC projects have a general TEAM Forum: with individual Team Threads.
You could make a team thread now, but it would be nice to have a Team forum to put them all in one place. So noobie's could easily browse around and perhaps pick out a team. |

I think it's a waste of time. You're just running a similar program, you're not actually doing anything yourself. Just let the program run in the background and stop complaining about how you wish you could interact more with your team.
