I recently got started on world community grid and installed boinc on my desktop.
----------------------------------------It has been running for a few days and successfully completing tasks which show up on my results page, showing my device name. Only my device is not showing up in device manager, and so I haven't been able to apply a profile to it. How can I get my device to show up under the manager? I am in the same boat. I have been doing work and submitting results since Dec 19th. I do not get any data in the "Overview, History or Devices" sections on the website. Hoping to see a response here that tells me I simply have to select a check box that was overlooked.

Post your DEVICE ID NUMBER in the forum linked below and hopefully in a day or so the World Community Grid administratior will see your post and reply to your message. It usually takes anywhere from a few days to a week to have them add the device to your profile.

In the mean time your DEFAULT profile will be used.

It usually takes anywhere from a few days to a week to have them add the device to your profile. This seems to have been the case. This morning I could see my device on the webpage and was able to apply a profile to it. Just needed a little bit more patience. |

Thanks for the info. It appears that it has all been added. Now I can sit back and not pay attention while the bots do their thing. :)
