Up and running Be interesting to see what kind of results you get from the Opty. Been looking at picking up another cheap Sempy, O/c to 2+ GHz and should have a pretty fair cruncher. Of course, it may be worthwhile splashing out on something more substantial . . . . |

I added a 3800 X2 to the arsenal a couple weeks ago. I o/c'd it to 2.3 without breaking a sweat but haven't tried to push beyond that yet.
---------------------------------------- I set BOINC to run both processors but I've been running other stuff along with WCG so I'm not sure what it would do on WCG alone. Another winner from AMD.  |

I'll be adding a new toy next week, replacing the laptop with a new one.... 2.13 ghz with 2 gig ram. Wonder what I can use to burn it in with ???
Then I can overclock the you know what out of the old one. Rick |

Well, It o/c'd to 2.7 with no problems at all, and I suspect will go a lot further. Letting it settle for a week before I push it further. Need to do something about cooling though, 4 systems in a small box room is a recipie for disaster
BOINC benchmark stats put it at 2.5 times as fast as my 3200+, and that was o/c'd by 10%  I recon it's good for almost 5k per day anyhow. Be nice to add some more of these to the stable - may even be able to give siscm a run for his money one of these days |
