Thanks brinktastee, knreed, Alther, Lewis and anyone else involved. I hope this will help others in the future.
----------------------------------------It sounds like brinktastee will have difficulty getting the "firewall dude" to change anything so hopefully the BOINC client will solve the problem. On the other hand, it sounds like the others where he works will continue to have the same problem. It is a shame that those attempting to do the "right thing" are pitted against each other in situations like this.  Someone remind me to get rid of this whole topic when and if WCG stops using the UD agent. |

Yipeee!!!!
The Boinc Windows client worked awesome. Went through that firewall without a hitch. This rocks! I want to thank everyone in this forum who helped me on this problem. -Brink |
