Well the WEBPAGE is now working, but it's not sending the updated settings to the client. Cute. It works for me. I changed the count from 8 to 12 and I got 10 or 11 tasks. Later I got 12. Last I looked,, I had 9. ![]() |

Last night, after confirmation of Grumpy Swede in post 692342 that changing the settings in your Device Profile is being carried over to the BOINC Client again, I lowered my maximum number of MCM1-tasks from 64 to 56. The change was seen in the BOINC Client at the next contact with the WCG server and a few hours later, after finishing 8 tasks, the number of tasks in the queue had indeed dropped from 64 to 56.
This morning the number of tasks in the queue was still not more than 56. This afternoon at 12:45 I altered the number of MCM1-tasks back from 56 to 64, the change was seen again at the next contact with the WCG server in the BOINC Client, and (after numerous futile attempts to get some tasks) at 13:22 I succeeded in receiving 3 tasks to raise the reduced supply in my queue from 51 to 54, four minutes later followed by 10 tasks, so that my queue is filled with 64 MCM1-tasks again. As I posted about it not working yesterday, I ought to acknowledge that it now seems to be working :-)
The change I made a few days ago as a test finally got actioned some time overnight, and I changed numbers of OPN1/OPNG tasks allowed this morning and that seems to have worked as well (once there was some OPNG work to send out!). Here's hoping the fix sticks... Cheers - Al. |

The error message is gone but devices are not pulling changes to profiles or new profiles applied to them in device management.

This morning the device profile page seems to work properly. I was able to change the device profile on the web page and these settings were transferred properly to my BOINC client.

With some hiccup(s) the device profile page is working.
----------------------------------------I just changed one profile twice. The first time I got an error "503 Service Unavailable (No server is available to handle this request.)" for https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewMessage.do, the change was propagated to the BOINC client though. The second time, the viewMessage.do page worked properly and the change was also propagated to the BOINC client again. I am seeing several problems loading (random) pages from the WCG-website today. Sometimes the page fails with a "503 Service Unavailable", sometimes it loads successfully, other times the same page loads for the most part.
