Just sorted out a little technical hitch on the MOT server. The scheduled tasks don't run if you change the system password
---------------------------------------- Congrats SteelDragon and theunderdog (I like that nick) on making a serious contribution to the success of Project 1 and long may it continue with Project 2 Keep on crunching. Dave ![]() ![]() |

It's a brand new day
----------------------------------------One of my old bosses used to start each day by singing this is in a very loud voice especially useful if you, like me, feel like a hedgehog and are peering at the world through one bleary eye.Have a great Sunday however much of it is left in your part of the World Dave ![]() |

Good morning (at least it is here anyway) from the warm and sunny south of the US. Well, at least it is sunny anyway. The past few days have been COLD! Yesterday morning it was 25 Fahrenheit (about -4 Celsius). Today it was just above freezing, but that still is way below our normal for this time of year. Crazy weather! We even have a tropical depression off the coast of Honduras -- it has weakened, but was at tropical storm strength yesterday. The National Hurricane Center actually ran out of names and had to use letters from the Greek alphabet for the last three storms. This one was Tropical Storm Gamma. It has been the worst of seasons in the tropics ever. Well, I better quit or I won't think of it as a good morning and it isn't like me to not be cheery. I am on my third FightingAIDS@Home work unit now. My old system continues to pick up Human Proteome Folding work units (Just as Pconfig said it would -- thanks
). On with the day. Keep on crunchin'. |

Welcome New Members and Congratulations to those with new milestones...like theunderdog
---------------------------------------- Looks like our friends at WCG have more work for us with the HIV project. As it says on the team website... "Personally I think that is the most useful thing you could do with your PC." .... at least when your not acutally using it for something really important like eBay or playing Doom ![]() |
