Re: Shot in the dark...

I don't suppose there's a WinCE version of WCG anywhere is there? I have another PC available, but it's a PC104

PC104? Are you doing hardware control? - these usually are used for embedded applications. I would think if you have a hard drive you could load a linux operating system and the linux client. You might be able to load a small version of Windows 98. I don't think there is a WinCE version.

Re: Congradulations

Re: MyOnlineTeam Congratulates Alain Bryden on 100,000 Points
Well done that man on becoming the 2nd Canadian in the 6 digit club. Team here's an example of the kind of commitment we have at MOT 5 months of dedicated crunching steadily piling up those points day by day until today making 6 digits.

Thanks Alain for sticking with us and for your contribution to the research being carried by Dr Bonneau's Team at the ISB.

(7 months later)

You're Welcome : P

Yes, it's for a field server unit. The software we have is written in VB for CE, so it needs a WinCE o/s to work... unfortunately

Where to start - Sorry Folks I've been busy blushing

First it's welcome aboard Mike Holden and John Kinsworthy thanks for pitching in those PC's to the great MOT Mission - although not strictly true the MOT Total now stands at 2016 PC's !!! Your member pages are now online (Mike I managed to get yours going at some unearthly hour of the morning yesterday sleep ) Please feel free to drop me an email with any extra info you would like to make viewable to the world and I'll update it for you. If you would prefer to remain anonymous that's OK too. We just like to put those flags from around the globe on the team ranking pages.

We now have 23 Countries that we know about represented on MOT

Thanks for choosing to crunch with the MOT Crew

Dave

-----------
Joost just looking through the country listings and I see you joined us on the 3rd May 2005 which makes that 8Million+ total of yours even more amazing shock

Long may it continue. You will have to let us know how many PC's you are running the agent on over there

Thanks Joost

Dave

-----------
Team group hugs all round on yesterdays performance a team record breaking 1 year 117 days 11 hours 1 minute and not forgetting 43 seconds of run time in a single day !!!!!!!!! and one more for effect!

Putting another record breaking 298,963 points on our grand total of 66,776,855 (LOL)
We have a 300K within us - I'm sure we will get there one day..

But most importantly our (still little) group of 232 returned 1,253 results back to the HPF and HIV research projects which is what all of this is really all about - don't forget (It's easily done)

----------

Right Team do you think we can put together another 346 days 13 hours 19 mins and 13 seconds of run time today ?????

If so get yourself ready for a 300th Birthday Party Tonight.

Dave nerd

Watch out people...

... I hate to say this, but I think we may have a new rival team gaining fast...

"Easynews" generated 2,204,493 points YESTERDAY!!!

If they carry on at that rate, they'll be number 1 in a couple of weeks!

Re: Watch out people...

Hey spikey R

Team's have come whizzing past us before

Don't worry it's a tortoise and the hare thing

Once they get past us they have to stay past us and we will just keep on keeping on crunching.

Just pointed out that MOT are on the brink of their 300th Birthday to the lovely Mrs Autumns and she says that "It's about as interesting as watching a fish flapping about on the floor"

It's great to have such support for my little idiosyncrasies biggrin
