confused Dashboard not updated

I recently relaunched a server running BOINC with Worldcommunity grid.
I see the results correctly in the "Results" tab, however I do not see anything in the dashboard (not the number of results, my point or my activity)
do you know where the problem could come from?

Re: Dashboard not updated

Take a look at your Devices page to see if your new computer is showing up there. There's a bug with the WCG systems where some newly-added devices aren't getting properly associated with your account. If the device doesn't show up there, post the Device ID (which you can find in the BOINC Manager log) in this thread , and the techs can manually add the device to your account.

I did so recently with a new device I added, which is strangely showing up in BOINCStats under my account, but not yet in WCG itself.

To do this you'll need the device ID of the host; you can grab this from the BOINC Manager log. About fifty lines from the top, you'll see a message like:
6/23/2023 4:12:46 PM | World Community Grid | URL http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/; Computer ID 8712838; resource share 100

The number after "Computer ID" is what you'll want to post in the thread I linked. If you don't see a line like this, it probably means that it's fallen off the top of the log; you can either restart BOINC, or you can check the
client_state.xml
file, which is located in the BOINC Data directory (which defaults to
C:\ProgramData\BOINC
on Windows, or
/var/lib/boinc-client
on Linux). Somewhere around 100 lines into that file, you'll find something like:

<hostid>8712838</hostid>

Once again, there's the number you want.

Welcome to WCG, and we hope you'll stick around :)
