I am getting immediate filling of MCM cache but only 1 at a time from SCC, but they get there in the end.

Over the last day, the spread of WUs on the vast majority of hosts that I am able to check has changed to about 80%-+90% SCC and only 20% to less than 10% of MCM...

Well, since some time yesterday I guess, the supply of SCC1 WUs has significantly dropped off.
While during the end of last week, most of my hosts were up to +90% of SCC1 tasks, this morning, the same machines are down to 15% or even less....

The problem seems to have been corrected asa far as I can tell, just got some
SCC1_00041xx_MyoD1-C wu's!

Supply of them is good here too. Getting a good mix of the A, B, and C types.

SCC supply appears to be drying up now. My crunchers have idle cores. Is this related to the previous problem?
The defective jobs stopped not long after TigerLily announced that the technical team was working on the issue, but there has been no postings on the subject since.
