I'm trying to run WCG on Linux Pop! OS but as soon as BOINC executes, entering ctrl + shift + E I get the message "Not using Nvidia GPU: project preferences". I set the BOINC client's preferences to always use the GPU and set my WCG profile to maximum output. I've updated WCG on BOINC and restarted the client but I keep on getting this message. How do I get it to use the GPU?

There are no or not many GPU Work Units around for OpenPandemics presently.
----------------------------------------We are all waiting for more. Please make sure you have the selected OpenPandemics on 'my Contribution->My Projects'. "Not using Nvidia GPU: project preferences". (...) set my WCG profile to maximum output. Than try a custom profile and set "Use my NVIDIA graphics card if possible" to "yes". Also make sure, that your computer actually uses that profile as you can have more than one. |
