Sorry

Sorry, after months of inactivity on my 6 devices, I deleted BOINC (including WCG) and installed Folding@Home which all are currently running 100%.

Re: Sorry

We each make decisions based on what is important to us.
Sorry to see you leave WCG.

Re: Sorry

I am curious. I just got the message "World Community Grid: We miss you!
We see that you haven't contributed to World Community Grid lately, and we need your help!"

I have not contributed lately because there is no work for months now - Right?

My computers have been sitting asking for work for months and there has been nothing. I think I had heard WCG was broken for a while, and is it working again? Not sure, but it will be down again on the 25th. So I am not sure when WCG will work again.

5/20/23 was the last time WCG sent work. I guess that is when it broke. I will look forward to the day when WCG is fixed and sending out work again!

It is not broke now. There is plenty of work for SCC and MCM, but not for Open Pandemics or African Rainfall. If you only have those two selected, you will get no work, but if you have MCM or SCC selected, you should be getting all the work you can handle.
Cheers

You were obviously doing something wrong

Like above, I now have no problem whatsoever (5 machines - 3 'Nix - 2 Win)

I could say more but will leave it there.

Wrong.

While things certainly are not running smoothly (and there is a severe lack of communication from WCG Towers), the only time that there was no work at all after the restarting in June 2022 was pretty much during March of this year, when WCG was down due to a RAID controller failure...

Well, there is work all the time, at least for MCM1, though SCC1 does come in sprints of a couple of days before running dry, ARP and OPN are known to be without working due to background work/issues of those projects and HST simply is a form of unobtainium for years now.

You might wanna check what you profile/project settings are...
