It has been almost 2.5 years since we've even heard a peep from this project.

I know you will. My question is why they haven't given a single update on their research in all this time. I'm guessing they're still busy with COVID?

Exactly, and updates on their research would be appreciated. Especially UGM which has never really had anything published and the researchers didn't respond to e-mails. For all I know, UGM was a total and complete waste of time and resources. No papers, no databases, nothing.
