stojmir,
Every result that your computer has returned has been determined to be invalid. What this means is that every result you return is different then the results returned by others uses with the same workunit. I suspect that you have done something unusual with your computer such as having overclocked it. Is there anything you can think of that you did with it? FYI - we have a function in place that will reduce the number of workunits a computer can process when it returns an invalid result. This number will starting going back up to the global max when valid results are returned. Kevin |

Hello stojmir,
You probably want to look at the 'Useful Utilities' thread at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2490 for some diagnostic programs, such as: 2) CPU Tester: http://7byte.com/index.php?page=download General diagnostic program 3) Memory Tester: http://www.memtest86.com/ Memory diagnostic program Hope this helps, mycrofth |

Your agent will return invalid results if you run more than 1 instance of it at a time. You may notice your agent is returning results from two sessions in your account, this is not how this application was written to run.
----------------------------------------Telltale signs - log in to the server via SSH. Run the command 'top' and on the top right you will see load averages. I think your number should be an even 2.00, 2.00, 2.00 if the computer is not doing anything else but running the grid. If you have two instances of the grid running, you may only see two instances of rosetta in 'top', but your load averages will be 4.00, 4.00, 4.00 Optionally you can PHPSysinfo to get this data (and some other cool info) in a web browser http://phpsysinfo.sourceforge.net/ ![]() |

The windows agent can't do 2 wu's together but the boinc client can. Greetings |

Hey FOBioPatel, i think it's not correct what you say. The windows agent can't do 2 wu's together but the boinc client can. Greetings Hi Pconfig, I am pretty sure I ran into troubles when one instance of the Grid client was started with the 'root' user, and then incorrectly stopped with the 'boinc' user and restarted. I'm not sure what exactly caused it, but I had two instances of my hostname reporting results, and every single one of them was invalid. Eventually I got the 2 result cap and it wouldn't download any more projects. This was on a brand new dell poweredge server (no modifications). There is probably a 'correct' way of running to wu's together, but i am unaware of the process. My situation happened entirely by accident, I'm trying with a fresh installation of the new BOINC client - so far so good. |

I'm starting to get 'reached daily quota of 1 result' now. I am also leaving a message for 'contact us'.
Thank you, dreplogle |
