I have the reverse problem. My BOINC manager states i have plenty of completed tasks but my WCG accounts shows nothing in the last year. Do you have another account perhaps? Under the account you listed for your post, there is no activity in Boincstats for quite some time. Not only on Boincstats, the last result returned for this accout was nearly a year ago before the move to Krembil. So he must be using a different account now. To add some details that I have experimented with. I have not been getting WCG points for any WU done on boinc 7.20.2 (latest client), but if i install the WCG boinc client 7.16.11 then points are counted.
the latest client does complete WU and under results the WU are valid but no points given. My latest 7.20 boinc WU was on 2/10. |

To add some details that I have experimented with. I have not been getting WCG points for any WU done on boinc 7.20.2 (latest client), but if i install the WCG boinc client 7.16.11 then points are counted. I am running 7.20.2 on several clients, including my best cruncher, my programming laptop and it doesn't show any issues like that. And this laptop is "in service" since just before WCG started up again back in June...the latest client does complete WU and under results the WU are valid but no points given. My latest 7.20 boinc WU was on 2/10. The only problem that I experience, across all hosts (about two dozens or so) and across several versions of the BOINC client, is one that is a general WCG issue for the last two weeks or so, that the validator (for MCM1, the only really active project right now) isn't working right, so WUs might sit in PV jail for longer than usual and thus, I/you/we won't get credit right away... I see results also up to today the 18th. I actually went up 5 in the last day column.
I have 2 Win 10 laptops using Boinc 7.20.2, 2 Ubuntu 20.04 LTS using Boinc 7.16.6, and 1 Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS using Boinc 7.18.1 I fairly sure the Win10 version was downloaded from the Berkeley U site. |
