confused 40 minute due times??

One of my devices received a batch of WUs that seemingly were only valid for 40 minutes (!):

I'm familiar with the 3-day resends, but this is nuts. The wingman received a full six days:

Yes, but this was not for MCM. There was this unbelievably short due time of 40 seconds for one OPN1-task seen here:

FInding this case was easy because I was alerted that my task was Server Aborted in the output of wcglog that was generated by wcgresults.

I believe this has to do with a bug in the system where one date field gets filled with a wrong value. This is not something that was introduced this year, it was already spotted several times in the past (back in the IBM days).
