Hi, I have a website and I was wondering if there was a WCG web banner I could add to it?

In the past, the professional staff at the World Community Grid has indicated that the logo for the World Community Grid is copyrighted material and is not available for others to use.

In the past, the professional staff at the World Community Grid has indicated that the logo for the World Community Grid is copyrighted material and is not available for others to use. So you are saying that no one can't use this banner. Bah, stupid. Than make some banners that poeple can use. Isn't this at your favour??? ![]() |

I agree with PiA. With the addition of more projects, and the resulting growth of WCG into a multi problem working entity, I find it hard to believe that those in charge would have such a Microsoft attitude toward the use of the logo.
----------------------------------------Authorizing the use of the logo on member's personal web spaces will do nothing else but provide more exposure and advertising for WCG. Aiding in the recruitment of additional members. Maybe this should be something WCG needs to reconsider. |

Nobody mentioned it, but the point of the banner would be to contain a link to WCG.

Yea, it'd be good advertising for this site and perhaps more importantly, it'd be free advertising which is probably pretty rare. Is there any news on the use of a banner? Or even permission to use the new "fight aids @ Home" banner. ![]() |

Good idea, Chris20!
There are no trademarks in your FightAIDS@Home banner. Add any clickable links you want! encouragingly, mycrofth |
