"This project seems to have changed its URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org[" msg from BOINC.
I am unable to REMOVE this project because that option is greyed out. From the properties tab I see "Added via account manager YES" Any insight into this situation will be appreciated. TIA...billgr0248 |

TIA...billgr0248 A project added through an account manager can only be removed via that account manager for as long as you’re attached to it. So, either go to the account manager and remove it from there or go to tools and stop using the account manager. ETA Alternatively, just ignore the message - it does no harm. Just ignore the message and everything is gonna be just fine...I am unable to REMOVE this project because that option is greyed out. If you have no task running for WCG then delete the folder in projects.
----------------------------------------For linux : /var/lib/boinc/projects/the_folder (you must do it as root) For windows : c:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\the_folder Then restart boinc service or reboot.
My GPU compute WUs as fast as I'm crushing bubble wrap.
