I have yet to see any updated data on My Contribution page. Apparently.I've logged off and back in and still no new data. Last evidence of results was from February of this year. Am I missing something? Stats are kind of working again since September 29th, 2022. And that is after initial sending of test WUs resumed in June, and for currently returned WUs. There is no retroactive applying of stats for the time June through Sept 29th, yet (that is supposedly in the works, we'll see). Here is my returned results, per project so far (with the last couple of days before the shutdown at the bottom, blank line added by me). date, points, results, runtimeInSeconds, shortName Ralf |

This is totally unacceptable that since Feb 28 2002, 7.5 months as of now, we are still having issues and unstable platform.
----------------------------------------1. MCM units are not available for at least 2 weeks now. 2. The WCG page was having intermittent issue 3. Missing stats and devices are still not updated 4. Transfer issues still happening 5. Lack of updates at time This is nothing but chaos. There is nothing to write home about from Krembil, period. It will be fine in the end. When the "end" is though, is at the moment unknown.
If you run out of patience, more patience can be bought at the nearest "Patience" store. |

Please Sir, may I have some more??
I know I'm not alone when I ask for more WUs. I haven't even got a resend in a couple of days. You need the system to error to collect more data about the error event, so time to push it a bit in the name of science. All joking aside, I know how hard it is to solve a tough computer/software bug that might need a series of events to trigger. good luck. |

Cost can not be calculated because in the ratio unit of monetary value to unit of patience, the unit of patience is ill defined. Cheers

After several days of no download problems, and a snappy website, the HTTP errors are back, with a vengeance, and the website is slow, slow, slow.......

After several days of no download problems, and a snappy website, the HTTP errors are back, with a vengeance, and the website is slow, slow, slow....... It probably isn't a coincidence that there now seem to be new ARP1 tasks being issued again (and there may or may not be new MCM1 tasks, but I'm not seeing any yet...)There will be far, far, more requests hammering away at the download servers than there were when it was only OPN1/G and ARP1/MCM1 retries 9especially if the auto-retry brigade is still active!) So I guess we're stuck with it [again] until they either moderate the new work production (which will have folks complaining about no work [again]...) or get more server capacity (whether that's just a matter of connections or it actually needs more server instances...) Cheers - Al. |
