www.grid.org uses a different program due to people being able to choose between cancer research or proteome folding. This website simply allows proteome folding through its program.
Perhaps www.grid.org processes faster plus without shut down issues (such as loosing progress)??? I'm curious to know if anyone has tried www.grid.org besides me and has a theory that might be a bit more supported than what I could possibly come up with. |

i haven`t tried grid.org but I think (my opinion) that there is no difference when it comes to proteome folding.
What is new about the WCG is that there will be different and not only medical projects in the future. I think 5-6 a year are planned. |

This program uses exactly the same client as UD-grid so there is no difference. Till now everything is the same except for grid.org that is also doing cancer research. But this project will contain other projects too.
