Gamma-globulin deficiency

My brother has a gamma-globulin deficiency and requires monthly infusions, will this project potentially help solve this problem?

Thanks,

Re: Gamma-globulin deficiency

Hello mcleran,

You might want to look over my posts on this thread ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1368 ) starting at the end and working backwards. This project is basic research that has a good chance to be useful to some medical researchers. But we cannot guess in advance which sorts of medical researchers we will help, if we do help at all, because we are studying proteins with unknown structures. Which means that anything we learn will probably be a surprise. A good basic research project is like that.
