Hi everyone,
is it still possible to get more than one work unit per core? I changed the local boinc settings to cache for 10 days. Also I checked what's configured in my WCG configuration on this website. It allows unlimited work units. So my question is, if I'm doing something wrong or is it just not possible to get more than one work unit for every cpu core? Thanks, fufu |

And how long have you been running them for?
Some projects restrict you until you’ve proven that you can successfully process their tasks. |

I run every project available (MCM, ARP, OPN). I‘m running them since May 2021. Sometimes my computer is shut down for a day or two.

I know this is a stupid question to ask but what does the top command say in the tasks section of BOINC Manager.? Does it say 'Show all tasks'? If so click on it. Mike |

Hi Mike,
just checked. Yes it shows "all tasks" not "active tasks". fufu |

If the button says "Show All Tasks" then it is currently only showing active tasks and will only show all tasks once pressed.

Did it not occur to you to press it just to see what happens?

Sorry I wasn't clear about what I meant.
It normally shows every task and when I clicked it it showed just the active tasks. As result I see 32 active tasks (show all tasks) or 33 tasks (show active tasks). So in the end doesn't make much of a difference. |

Check "Connect to network about every" and "extra days of work".
----------------------------------------Best to use only website if possible, using a mix of website and local prefs may not get what you want. Paul.
