OPN1_0055501_04050_0 was downloaded and the Project Status is "Ready to Start," but is not running. The scheduler state is "uninitialized," and the active_task_state is "UNINITIALIZED."
This is on a Raspberry Pi, B+ (first generation) with the most recent Raspbian OS installed. I've also experienced the same behavior on a Raspberry Pi Zero. In the past, I've noticed that "uninitialized" work units sometimes start executing on their own, but more often, I've had to abort the work unit and get a new task before it starts running. What can I do to get "uninitialized" work units to start processing reliably? |

Have you tried a reboot?

If you enter the below, does the log provide any clues?
----------------------------------------boinccmd --get_messages Also, it looks like the first gen B+ and the Pi Zero both have 512 MB of RAM. In whatever profile you have applying to the Pis, you might have too low of a percentage set for the amount of memory that can be used while the system is in use/idle. Since OPN calls for 250 MB per work unit that would have to be higher than 50% on those units. ![]() |

Have you tried a reboot? Yes, that was one of the first things I did, but made no difference. |

If you enter the below, does the log provide any clues? boinccmd --get_messages Nothing was apparent to me, but that doesn't mean there wasn't something meaningful to someone who knew what to look for. Also, it looks like the first gen B+ and the Pi Zero both have 512 MB of RAM. In whatever profile you have applying to the Pis, you might have too low of a percentage set for the amount of memory that can be used while the system is in use/idle. Since OPN calls for 250 MB per work unit that would have to be higher than 50% on those units. OpenPandemics is the only task for the Pi, but I've now increased the amount of memory (90%) to be used by BOINC when the computer is not in use. Maybe that's the solution. Thanks for the suggestions. |
