Work Unit Downloaded But Not Running (Uninitialized state)

OPN1_0055501_04050_0 was downloaded and the Project Status is "Ready to Start," but is not running. The scheduler state is "uninitialized," and the active_task_state is "UNINITIALIZED."

This is on a Raspberry Pi, B+ (first generation) with the most recent Raspbian OS installed.
I've also experienced the same behavior on a Raspberry Pi Zero.

In the past, I've noticed that "uninitialized" work units sometimes start executing on their own, but more often, I've had to abort the work unit and get a new task before it starts running.

What can I do to get "uninitialized" work units to start processing reliably?

Have you tried a reboot?

If you enter the below, does the log provide any clues?
boinccmd --get_messages

Also, it looks like the first gen B+ and the Pi Zero both have 512 MB of RAM. In whatever profile you have applying to the Pis, you might have too low of a percentage set for the amount of memory that can be used while the system is in use/idle. Since OPN calls for 250 MB per work unit that would have to be higher than 50% on those units.

Yes, that was one of the first things I did, but made no difference.

Nothing was apparent to me, but that doesn't mean there wasn't something meaningful to someone who knew what to look for.

OpenPandemics is the only task for the Pi, but I've now increased the amount of memory (90%) to be used by BOINC when the computer is not in use. Maybe that's the solution. Thanks for the suggestions.
