ich habe eine Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super am laufen und sie wartet ungeduldig auf Arbeit...

Hello.

Yes, the Open Pandemics Project COVID-19 project supports GPUs.
You just need to make sure your device profile is set to allow the use of GPUs.


Be aware that GPU work is hard to get since only 1700 work units are released every 30 minutes.

I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 and it is not processing GPU task.
I have a AMD Radion 5700 XT which is. So my device profile is set correctly.

Any idea why the NVIDIA GPU is not getting tasks?

Seems like there was no work available at that specific time.

Remember there are only 1700 GPU work units being released every 30 minutes.

The RT5700 continues to get work. The Nvidia has never received work (several days running). I believe this is more than no work available.

Under windows BOINC cannot use the GPU if it is running as a service.
Look at the first few lines from the event log as BOINC starts. It should show if it is running under your user id or as a service. It should also show if it can see any GPUs and the version of opencl.

Are the two PCs using the same device profile?

I also had a similar problem much earlier in the project. I had successfully taken part in the beta but could not get any production units as my PC was only requesting CPU work units even though I had not changed anything. I think I corrected the problem by using the repair option during an install.

So you hi-jack a thread and the solution for OP doesn't work for you. Sad.
I had one rig on for 4-6 hours three days in a row and it didn't receive one GPU job. S..t happens, there are only a few jobs around.
