COVID Vaccinations

Just curious how many people here, have been vaccinated.
I'm in Canada ranked 34th in the world recently in vaccinations.
Qatar is ranked higher than Canada, kinda embarrassing.
Gibraltar ranked number one. The Falkland islands is high too.
I finally was eligible for Astra Zeneca on May 9th at 10:50 am,
wasn't too enthused, I wanted an MRNA shot.
Our local Pharmacy just opened up about 240 appointments for the Pfizer shot.
So I now have an appointment on May 9th at 12:50.
I'm also in Alberta which is now ranked #1 in COVID cases per capita, over all provinces AND US states.... What an honor sick
Yeah I've been hiding at home a LOT.
(Oh and of course I cancelled the astra zeneca appointment so hopefully someone will take my spot, if there is even any left.).
Funny thing, if they hadn't shut down the border, I could have driven to the US and got a shot at the VA last month.
Stay Safe everyone!

Re: COVID Vaccinations

I live in Taiwan.

Vaccination is actually not really on the priority list here, since - unlike in Western countries - COVID-19 was effectively contained from the very beginning.

There is also little to none vaccines available for small countries like Taiwan at the moment, mainly due to the urgent needs of other countries due to their negligence. So thanks for nothing and we are just going to wait until our own vaccines are ready, probably in the second half of this year.

Re: COVID Vaccinations

I'm in Canada (Montreal). I had my first dose of AstraZeneca two weeks ago today (April 21). My second dose is scheduled for August (which is too long, IMHO). But will AstraZeneca even be available? It seems like only Pfizer is able to keep up supply.
