Re: Invalid GPU work units

These "invalid" WU's are still being sent out.

Example:

Re: Invalid GPU work units

Howdy,

I have had some conversations with the researchers and they have identified batches that are bad. What this means is that the search location for the target/ligand area was outside the search box. All batches for OPNG 2225-3336 are identified as a problem. We have stopped sending new results for these batches.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: Invalid GPU work units

Thanks for the update and great that the erroneous batches were found!
By the way, is there some info on what target(s) we are currently crunching with OPNG and how it differs from OPN1 batches (how many batches for the target etc)?

@Uplinger

I'm still getting WU's from those batches though. These are the ones I got on my slow GTX660M after you sent the post I reply to:

OPNG_0002228_00008_1
OPNG_0002252_00189_1
OPNG_0002383_00335_1

My faster computer is empty of tasks, and in a deep sleep now. smile

Re: Invalid GPU work units

Don't be in too much of a hurry to run tasks from the faulty batch - I've had some cancelled by the server within minutes.

Yeah but on a faster computer, there's not much of a chance to build any cache really, so they crunch as soon as they come in. On my slower one though, with the GTX660M card, I do have 17 in the cache, and for sure on that one, there is some server aborted WU's from the faulty batches.
