Only 9 minuets for each GPU WU? How about making them last for at least a hour.
Had a bunch an now there all done. 2 GPUS finished in less then a day. 1080 Ti and 980. |

I'd think that this is basically the same type of work unit that would normally get run on the CPU. It certainly illustrates how the GPU can help when you have tasks suited for it.
Hopefully, they'll get the pipeline going for more consistent GPU work unit availability. Until then, I just consider it a bonus. |

CPU has like 1 or jobs while GPUs have 30, 40, 50, 60, etc jobs. AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

It really varies a lot. I’ve seen as few a 9 sub-tasks in a GPU task. Over 50 on the higher end.

For my Win10, Ryzen 2700x computer for OPNG:
9 minutes on NVidia GT 1030. 4 minutes on AMD 5500 XT underclocked to 1320 MHz 813 millivolts. This dropped 120 watts from this GPU all the way down to 35 watts for OPNG, 70 watts for Furmark and some games, when I look at HWinfo64. I checked and 80% of my OPNG work units is this short of runtime. On BOINC manager I also see my OPNG AMD tasks quickly go to 100% in just 4 minutes. Looks like lots of OPNG GPU tasks are way too short for a low end GPU and underclocked GPU. Back to being completely out of GPU work again. |

is this a joke? 6.5 hours and stuck at 99.999%
I think I should opt out from OPNG.... |

is this a joke? 6.5 hours and stuck at 99.999% I think I should opt out from OPNG.... when you're having problems, it helps to give more specifics. what device are you using? Intel/AMD/nvidia? which model specifically. what's the rest of the hardware? what CPU resources are you using? what project and run % settings? My guess you are running an Intel iGPU Tamagoch. I and others are having the same issue and the WCG techs are trying to work it out as I understand it.
