Sorry, trying to do multiple things at once here :P
More batches just released...160-179 have been released. The amount of data that is returned per job is about the same on average. The more jobs in a work unit, the larger the output is required. Once we get to the more difficult jobs, we will be packaging less in a single work unit. Right now we are running the more difficult CPU work units. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Very fast on my 980. Around 2 minutes running one at a time. So far nothing for the iGPU, but then that's normal, since when it's time to ask for new work, it's the 980 that gets them, since it finished one, and is the most capable GPU.

About to release some more. The first few results shows the fix for the bug i commented on earlier in this thread. I have been able to prove that it has been corrected. I am planning to release 17 more batches in a few minutes. Then I will release 3 batches of CPU work on this beta to provide the results for the researchers so they can validate the results and let us know if we can proceed towards production release. I will also release more batches in the morning after I get back some data from the first 20 batches that will have been run on Beta. Thanks, -Uplinger As is 1.30 Am in the morning and me brain run on fumes atm .. If all good with this beta then we going live ? Also, validator works nicely, got some units done and credits for them . Tx for that |

Nice work. In regards to the credits claimed credits are displaying as 0.0 As an example 0.0/600.0 Is this the expected result for credit?

And I think we're already done. The well is bone dry.
My iGPU has 5 tasks left to crunch, my GTX980 is spinning down its fans. |

Seems like IGPUs get more tasks. I never get more than 4 tasks on each machine with a discrete GPU. Can't keep the one that can run 4 at a time fed. Hope we'll be able to run a cache when this goes live.

About to release 10 more batches. These will be 30000-30009. These are recreations from CPU tasks for the researchers to compare between the results that already ran on World Community Grid.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Looking good all the way for my part. GTX980 crunching fine, iGPU HD4600 crunching fine. Validates just fine, no errors, and the icing on the cake (points) tastes fine.

Nice work. In regards to the credits claimed credits are displaying as 0.0 As an example 0.0/600.0 Is this the expected result for credit? Yes, the range of points granted will depend on how much of the estimated computations you do from the start. It will basically be this calculation to determine points granted. Average CPU points per result times difficulty multiplier times percent of computations from original estimate. AvgCPUPoints * CPUmultiplier * PercComplete Currently we have these values: AvgCPUPoints = 82.4 CPUmultiplier = 20 The percent complete is determined by how far you got in each job. Say job #1 was supposed to use 1000 computations, and job #2 was supposed to do 2000 computations. And your computer only had to do 200 computations for job #1 before stopping and 1800 for job #2 computation. Then to get percent complete I am doing (200 + 1800) / (1000 + 2000) = 66%. From your comment of getting 600, that sounds like lots of the jobs stopped early. I will be monitoring the values to make sure things look correct over the next few days and early when we go to production. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Keith,
----------------------------------------FWIW the 4 resend tasks that I had validated before you released the latest 20 batches of betas all received between roughly 1100 & 1300 points each. The betas after those 4 received half or less the amount of points per task. I'm guessing that's because those 4 resends were more involved tasks. I'm not at all complaining. Just giving you a heads up in case there is an issue that needs addressed. Thanks for all the hard work you do here.
