Got 9 WUs on my Win10 Pro PC (latest updates applied):
2 x Opteron 6386 SE + 2 x Nvidia GTX TITAN (driver 461.40). Two completed successfully (PV status). Seven crashed with the "exceeded elapsed time limit" message. This is first time I see my GPU crashing on BETA_OPNG. Please see the details of one failed sample: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559223097 |

29 without errors on a RTX2070S under Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS.
3 without errors on a Intel 620 under Win 10 Enterprise. Claimed BOINC credits show 0.0. I assume this is an error going to be fixed. |

Here's my breakdown:
----------------------------------------- Linux Mint 19, Dual GT 1030: 28 pending validation, 1 error. Error log at: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559390958. Looks like it timed out. This machine only crunches 1 GPU unit per GPU. - Win 10, RTX 3080: 69 pending validation, 0 errors. This crunches 4 GPU units concurrently per GPU. - Win 10, GTX 1650: 34 pending validation, 0 errors. This crunches 3 GPU units concurrently per GPU. - Win 10, Intel HD4600: 9 pending validation, 5 errors, 13 still in progress. This is interesting because prior betas did not return any errors on this machine. In case it helps, it's a Dell Optiplex SFF PC with an Intel i-5 4xxx chip (I forget exactly which one it is). This machine only crunches 1 GPU unit at a time. The error logs are as follows: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559226980 https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559227464 https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559227169 https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559227465 https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559226530 All of these units had the same error: "Unhandled Exception Record - Reason: Breakpoint Encountered (0x80000003) at address 0x00007FFD25A79AD2" Let me know if anything else can help out. Thanks and good luck! [Edit 2 times, last edit by DrMason at Mar 13, 2021 7:31:30 AM] |

Same Problem here. All WUs on the Nvidia GT 740 under Linux failed. The error message is always the same:
----------------------------------------"exceeded elapsed time limit 2316.97 (126601.33G/54.64G)" WU NVDIA1(21 Jobs), WU NVDIA2(17 jobs), WU NVDIA3(20 Jobs), WU NVDIA4(19 Jobs), WU NVDIA5(19 Jobs), WU NVDIA6(17 Jobs) However, all the Intel WUs for the P630 made it on the same server: WU Intel1(47 Jobs), WU Intel2(37 Jobs), WU Intel3(72 Jobs), WU Intel4(53 Jobs), WU Intel5(58 Jobs) All the WUs on the Windows machine for the GTX 1660S finished in under 3 minutes and had 27 36, 33, 42 and 41 Jobs in it. Got 78 WUs across 3 machines. All now validated or in PV. These are on a GTX 1650:

These on a GTX 750 Ti:

Hello,
on linux a lot of the WUs are ending with an error: exceeded elapsed time limit 2858.08 (126601.33G/44.30G). It is not a fast machine, but the last beta runs without any errors. For example :https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559324869 Should I abort the 39 WUs on this machine so another machine can test? thanks. |

Have 95% of processor-using and 1 CPU free.
----------------------------------------This finished two tasks with iGPU UHD630 in Win10pro. Processor i7-8700. local prefs using and not web-prefs from WCG. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559290308 You can testing one task and suspend the other to see what happens.

8 units finished ok on GF 1060 3Gb (PV, 0.0 estimated credit).
1 unit finished at 89% with exceeded elapsed time limit 4956.40 (126601.33G/25.54G) on Intel HD 4000. |

Same question with Linux / iGPU HD4600. Still 50+ WU pending. So far all are ending with this exceeded elapsed time limit. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...og.do?resultId=1559318139 |

3 of my iGPU HD4600 tasks made it through, without any "exceeded elapsed time limit", the 4th failed when it was only a couple of "jobs" left.
----------------------------------------Worth noting is, that if you run CPU tasks at the same time as you run a iGPU task, you will slow down both the iGPU task, and the CPU tasks considerably. This was something we discovered on SETI@home, where we were running tons of different OpenCL GPU apps, and WU's. You can get away with running 1 or with luck 2 CPU tasks on a lets say 4c/8t CPU, but no more than that, or you will slow down all WU's considerably, including the one on the iGPU. That is true at least for the iGPU HD4600, if the same applies to newer Intel iGPUs, is unknown to me, since I do not have any newer CPU than the i7-4790K. Look here for some data and explanations: http://lunatics.kwsn.info/index.php/topic,1735.0.html [Edit 8 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Mar 13, 2021 2:52:36 PM] |
