Thread: All my downloaded tasks automatically suspended |

On one of my machines, all of the tasks report as suspended by user. This I never did. I have tried to remove WCG and reinstall but any new tasks are also reported as suspended by user. I have even wiped the machine, reinstalled Windows and WCG and the error still seems to come back. At present I am tempted to try for a new email and password as it is the only thing I haven't changed.
Any suggestions before I lose my progress? |

There are 3 places that can cause suspended by user and it’s worth checking them all even if you have not changed them :-
In the activity tag make sure it is set to activity by preference or always In the projects tab, select WCG and see if the option says resume, if so click it. In the tasks tab select a WCG task and see if the option says resume, if so click it. If none of these apply then this is a big bug and needs to be reported on the Boinc forum. |

----------------------------------------Uninstalling BOINC or removing WCG in BOINC Manager does not remove or change your preferences.  |

Re-start PC then post first 50-100 lines of event log.
